Nigerian-born designer Mrs. Omowunmi Omotosho crafts thoughtful silhouettes that merge traditional Adire and Aso-Oke with contemporary forms—centered on sustainability and cultural storytelling that celebrates our rich heritage.
Born in Lagos and raised between Nigeria and the UK, I discovered my passion for fashion through my grandmother's collection of vintage Aso-Oke fabrics. Today, I run a sustainable atelier in Ibadan, working directly with local artisans to preserve traditional techniques while creating contemporary pieces for the global market.
My work has been featured in Guardian Life, BellaNaija Style, and ThisDay Style, and I've dressed clients for red carpet events, cultural celebrations, and everyday moments that deserve something special.
Zero-waste pattern cutting reduces fabric offcuts by 62%. We partner with local organic cotton farmers and use natural dyes from indigenous plants, ensuring every piece respects our environment.
Working with master weavers in Iseyin and Okene, we preserve centuries-old Aso-Oke and Adire techniques, passing down traditional knowledge to future generations.
Modern silhouettes meet traditional craftsmanship through innovative draping techniques and contemporary cuts that honor the past while embracing the future.
